Day 6- Phang Nga Tour

Sorry for the lack of updates again, always busy!
Today we were up early, luckily this tour was not cancelled, we had a tour with simba sea trips to Phang Nga bay and the surrounding areas.
It was definitely one of the highlights of Thailand for me, so much to see and learn! The floating Muslim village was amazing to learn about and how they go about their way of life.  Kayaking through the caves was absolutely brilliant, although seeing the biggest spider I have EVER seen scared the shit out of me!
I managed to get turbo grilled, even though I applied sunscreen, which I later discovered was only spf 8!

Day 5- Cancelled plans and my birthday!

We had booked in to do Phi Phi tour today, went to bed early to get up at 5 for tour pick up, then get a call at 4.30 to say the weather was to poor so the tour was cancelled. I was quite disappointed, would've been awesome to spend my birthday doing that!
Anyway, decided to relax, slept in, brekkie, buffet of course, swim and treated ourselves to a massage (no dodgey happy endings!)
We caught a tuk tuk, after much bartering, to kata to a place called 'After Beach Bar' , this was one of the places i really wanted to visit. It's right up in the hills with amazingly views! Run my some Rastafarian type people with reggae music and a chilled vibe and very friendly staff!
After many drinks and watching an awesome sunset we decided to stroll back down and wander through Kata, everyone is so friendly!
We eventually got a Tuk Tuk back to Bangla road, stopped for another beer, it's thirsty work here! Made our way back to the hotel, after buying myself some new sunnies as I stupidly dropped mine somewhere in kata.
Overall a great birthday!

Oh and we get back to the hotel room and they had left a lovely birthday cake for me in our room!

Day 4

Just more exploring today, not a lot to report. We did go to an awesome little place for lunch 'no.6' for lunch. Such great food and friendly service, very cheap! Long neck beer, spring rolls and pad Thai for about $8 AUD, massive servings too! Could not even finish it!

Day 3

Sorry for lack of new posts!
We spent the day relaxing mostly, then took a tuk tuk from Patong to Karon, went for a walk, did some exploring, more beer and played some mini golf.
Did some more of the touristy stuff that night going to Phuket Fantsea. Sort of a Vegas style show.

Day 2- Relaxing and exploring

The day was spent mostly relaxing, exploring and drinking beer, we are staying at Deevana Resort Patong, quite nice, the breakfast buffet is awesome! We went to some biker bar & the owner saw my camera and took us out back to show off some of his bikes, some nice rides! Here's a few shots from yesterday!

There seems to be copious amount of cats around the resort too!
