Let's continue, we had the day to ourselves, some of our group went off and did a helicopter ride while the rest did random things. Cara, Amelia and I wandered around Banff, I'm pretty sure we visited every damn gift shop in that town, and I can confirm there are a tonne!
That arvo we all met up and set off towards Calgary, we were in no rush to get there (for a few reasons, I can't state here due to certain people may see this muahaha) so we stopped at a few lakes and streams, including an a interestingly named one (if you have an amateur mind like mine) called 'Lake Minnewanka'. We also attempted an interesting game called 'face biscuit' that our guide Josh showed us, basically all you have to do is tilt your head back, sit an Oreo on your forehead and all you can use is your facial expressions to get it into your mouth, it was ridiculously hilarious! Soon enough we had to set off to Calgary.
We arrived that evening in Calgary, after checking into our hotel and what not we all met up for what was going to be our final evening together for the group tour. We went to a place called 'Briggs' and had a huge group dinner with the party piece being a huge chunk of steak, seriously the size of my head...and I have a fat head! Afterwards, stuffed full, we rolled out of the restaurant next door to a bar called 'Craft Beer Market' to watch some ice hockey and reminisce from our last almost two weeks together, that place had such an insane amount beer varieties! We finished the night with some ten pin bowling which was another part of the same bar, that place was awesome.
After too many drinks and delicious deep fried mars bars it was time to say our big group goodbye's. It's so strange, yet such an amazing feeling how close a group can get in such an amount of time, Cara and I bonded with everyone on the tour. Our group leader, Josh and our awesome amigos Amelia, Alice, Christine, Megan, Joan, Chris, Stefan and Heather, you were all so awesome. We have had so many great times throughout the tour from the first awkward moments when we met, to miserably climbing the glacier to the drinking games we played camping out in the cabins. So many amazing memories and hilarious moments, I really did not want it to end as soon as it did!
Our fantastic host for the G Adventure trip Josh, was so easy going too. He does his own travels and posts and I can really recommend him if you love travel and seeing so many different amazing locations around the world, I'll share a link to his Facebook travels page HERE.
Finally we ended up just Cara, Amelia, Alice and myself at the end of the night...I really wish I could share what happened that night, it was so damn hilarious, I was 'overflowing' with laughter, but I have been sworn to secrecy haha. I can't even share a clue! We didn't end up getting to bed until way after 2am, which for the poor girls was not good as they had to be up at 5 to fly home to Australia!
Thanks for reading again folks, more on it's way soon!

Love it! Esp the pic of Cara and Amelia lol
